Wondering what “Boxed” status means? It’s a confirmation that your parcel has undergone the final preparations for shipment. No further action is required from your end at this stage. Once the shipping process is finalized, expect to receive a notification alongside your shipment invoice for your records.

While Vikings Global prides itself on its rigorous handling procedures, we understand concerns about lost or damaged parcels. Please note that we assume no responsibility for parcels lost or damaged before they reach our warehouse. However, should our staff detect any damage during the parcel-receiving process, we’ll promptly inform you. In the unfortunate event of loss or damage during transit to your destination country, you have the option to submit a Claim Form within four days of delivery. Our team will diligently evaluate your claim, aiming to provide resolution within 45 days, although many cases are resolved within 1-2 weeks. For added peace of mind, consider opting for our insurance option, available at a nominal rate of $2 per $100 of an item’s value.

At Vikings Global Express, we go the extra mile to help you minimize shipping costs through our complimentary resizing service. Here’s how it works:

  • Reduce Box Sizes: If your items don’t fill the box to capacity, we’ll expertly cut corners and fold over the box to a smaller size

It’s important to note that while we strive to resize parcels whenever feasible, certain factors may limit our ability to do so. For example:

 

  • Fragile items may be excluded from resizing to prevent potential damage during transit.
  • Oddly shaped objects may not fit snugly in smaller boxes.
  • Parcels that are already compact may see limited space savings through resizing.
